About Kenneth & Laura

Welcome to our little family that is looking to grow.

First, we want to tell you our love and prayers are with you as you make this most important decision for your baby. We are looking to have a precious little girl to complete our family. this has been a long path for us, and we imagine you have questions of why we are considering adoption. We have had many miscarriages in the past for no understandable reason. After going through in-vitro fertilization and another miscarriage, we evaluated our reason and desires for having a family. for us, the most important part is having children in our life. We have so much to offer another child in our lives, tremendous love and understanding, a wonderful home and family environment, with a mother, father, and big brother as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. We feel that adoption is a blessing, and what God has intended for us to do. The adoption of our 9-year-old son, when he was born has been the most fantastic and wonderful blessing our life. We are now prepared, and have been praying daily for a special baby girl to come and share our lives.

We are a small, traditional family living on 4 acres at the edge of a university town set in the Rocky Mountains. We enjoy the beautiful outdoors, mountains, rivers, wildlife and nature. Our home is set in an area where we can go camping, fishing, horseback riding and gardening within a few minutes of our front door. During the winter months the landscape is covered with snow. We enjoy sledding, skiing, snowmobiling, and building snowmen together. Scott, our 9-year-old son, plays hockey all winter long at the local ice arena a few miles from the house. The three of us also enjoy curling up to the fire place and watching movies, playing chess, table top games and crafts, such as knitting. Scott and I enjoy knitting hats together. He is currently making a turquoise blue one for his new baby sister.to our family. We asked Cody if he wants a brother or sister, and he says “Yeah, a baby! I will share my toys.”

One of our favorite things to do is to travel. We have been fortunate enough to travel together and with extended family to Europe, Hawaii, and throughout the U.S.A. We also spend time each year and during the holidays with grandparents, aunts and uncles who live out of state. We often go with our siblings and their children fishing, hunting and playing in the ocean. Both of us are very close to our brothers and sisters.

My name is Kenneth, and I would like to introduce my beautiful wife Laura lee. She is the most incredible woman I know. She is very active in Scott's life of school activities and hockey. She also helps every day by reading, teaching and spending quality personal time with Scott. She is the most energetic person I know! She starts at sunrise and is usually still doing something after dark. She treasures her landscaping and spends a lot of time with her garden, trees, and teaching Scott about the outdoors. She loves the two ponies we have for Scott and our future little girl and friends to ride. She is an amazing chef as well. She and Scott fix wonderful treats for us to enjoy.

The best is her apple pie. I love her because she can be a down home farm girl on one hand, and the life of the city and opera on the other. She enjoys the fine arts as well as digging in the dirt. She plans activities for the family, so that we can have quality time together. She thinks she is better at fishing than I am, but that has to be proven. We love to hold each other at the end of the day and find out what each other has done, and plan projects to make our home and land better.

I am Laura Lee. Although I spent a great many years going to college and professional school to become a doctor, I am now a full-time mother, wife and homemaker. I feel so fortunate because this is the best job I have ever had in my life. About my wonderful husband, I have been blessed with a traditional old-fashioned type of guy. Kenneth works as an engineer and V.P. of Sales. Not only does he work hard to provide well for us, he also has the same family goals as I do. We both so enjoy family life, we realize that having children is the most important and blessed part of our life here on earth. We have both said, "Why didn't our brothers and sisters tell us that having children was the most incredible part of life." Kenneth is as committed as I am in finding the little girl that belongs in our family. Kenneth has a fabulous positive outlook on life and the things that happen to us. He is the type of man that you can talk to when you need help as well as when you want to celebrate special things in your life. He has always been supportive of the new things I have wanted to try, as well as Scott's attempts at new activities and interests. One thing we love to do together is fish. Scott and I tag along and learn something new about fresh water fishing each time. He exhibits the patience that all fathers would have in teaching Scott the things he wants to know and needs to know. He is also willing to try new things with our son like ice skating. Scott says, "Dad is a fun guy that helps me with my homework and wrestles with me too." Scott and Kenneth are currently starting to work on a horse 4-H project. Both Scott and I feel so lucky to have Kenneth as the Dad and Husband in our house.

Scott is looking forward to being a big brother. When we pray each day, he says, "His little sister is on her way." Scott says he wants to be a big brother to teach her new things and go pony riding together. He wants to take her riding in the mountains with him and mom. He says he will teach her to be the best girl hockey player ever, if she wants to.

We met country western dancing in Southern California. He was a great looking cowboy with a black hat and boots on. From that point on I was continually impressed by the man he was and the an he has become. We celebrated our 13 year anniversary January 2008.

We are looking forward to adopting the baby girl that will complete our family. We feel that adoption has been the most significant and important blessing in our life. We could not love Scott any more than we do already, and we look forward to loving another child in the

same way. We have always told Scott that his mother loved him so much she was willing to let him come and grow up with us. We want you to know that we will also share with our baby girl, "that her mother loved her so very much she gave her the greatest gift, the gift of life." Our families support us in our choices for adoption, because they see the great joy that it brings to all of us. Our mothers cannot wait to see the new little one who will share our lives. they are the typical doting and spoiling grandmas. They will help teach the traditions that our family holds so dearly.

We attend the church regularly, and participate in their activities. So, you can understand why we say, "We hope God will grant you peace in your decision." We pray for you and your child. If you feel that our family is the right family for your baby, we so look forward to meeting you. No matter what your decision we will keep you both in our prayers.

Lovingly,

Laura Lee, Kenneth and Scott
