Dear Prospective Birthmother,

As you investigate adoption as an option for your baby, we are sure you must have many questions and concerns. It is not easy to make that first phone call and we want you to know that we are aware of the feelings you are probably feeling right now. We are here because we would like to help and support you in whatever decision you make for your baby and for yourself. Our goal is to take whatever time time you need to address those questions and concerns so that you can feel as peaceful as possible during this most important time.

Because we are an adoption facilitation office and are not a state licensed agency, adoption attorneys or therapist/counselors, we are able to take the time neccessary to assess and meet your individual needs with regard to a family for your baby. Our goal is to assist Birthmothers and Adopting Families to come together by providing complete information to the Birthmother about Adoption Families. This allows a Birthmother to choose the family she feels is right for her baby and follow through with a successful adoption plan.

Our staff is available to help during your pregnancy, during the birth of your baby, and after. We have extensive experience in working with Birthmothers; in assesing and addressing everyone's individual needs during this time where there are so many issues and decisions to handle.

Many of our prior Birthmothers who have been in your situation would be happy to discuss their personal experiences and answer any of your questions, should that be something you desire.

 

All communications between you and our office are strictly confidential. Our goal is to work with you if you decide that adoption is the right choice for your baby and you. We wi ll listen as you tell us what qualities you would like to see in the family that you coose to adopt your baby. We will show you families that match those qualities. After you choose the family, we will assist you in forming an adoption plan that works for you and for them - in establishing the kind of relationship during your pregnancy that you feel is most appropriate and comfortable. We will also be available to help with establishing medical care and counseling if you desire assistance in those areas.
